201709 - Hintz Well-Field Rehabilitation

The City of Owosso is seeking a qualified State of Michigan licensed Type I Water Supply Contractor, to provide a hydrogeology study, aquifer test, identification of proposed Standard Isolation Area, drilling services, chemical analysis of water from test wells, site plan with location of proposed production wells, and detailed construction specifications for the proposed production wells.  In addition, the existing Hintz Road production well no longer in operation, shall be plugged and abandoned.  Further, recommendations for well house construction shall be submitted.  Finally, detailed specifications for distribution piping shall be developed for connection to existing raw water lines.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract.  Bid documents and plans may be obtained on the city's website at www.ci.owosso.mi.us, at the office of the Bid Coordinator, 301 W. Main Street, Owosso, MI 48867 in accordance with the city's FOIA Policy or on the MITN website.  The City of Owosso reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any proposal in the interest of the city.
