Summary of Specifications:
The City of Pontiac is seeking a qualified contractor to do Masonry Repairs to the Resurgram Mausoleum for the City of Pontiac at the Oak Hill Cemetery, 216 University Drive, Pontiac, MI 48342, 14-28-153-055 by the attached description that is listed on the Oakland County GIS.
In order to fully comprehend the scope of the work to be performed, the Proposer shall visit and inspect the sites listed herein, prior to submitting a Proposal (site inspection in the provisions of this solicitation is mandatory). No subsequent adjustment in proposed price will be allowed because of Contractor's failure to understand the nature or scope of the work.
The Scope of Work shall be limited to: Masonry Repairs to Resurgram Mausoleum The successful bidder shall demonstrate past experience in Masonry Repairs for at least two years.
1. South East side of mausoleum Repair or reset center caps (blue stone) Repair up to 12 brick Tuck Point
2. East Pier Repair up to 6 brick and tuck point
3. East Wall Rebuild top 6 courses of brick to match west elevation Supply 2 ¾ inch x 18 inch blue stone cap 9 ft. long
4. Front Pier Rebuild pier, replace up to 10 brick Repair blue stone decorative cap (May not be exact match)
5. East Wall by Entrance Repair 8 courses of brick to match existing Repair 4 ½ ft. 18 inch x 2 ¾ inch blue stone cap
6. South Side High Peak Repair up to 3 courses of brick on top angle course of peak Repair and or reset blue stone cap approx. 13 l.f. of cap Tuck point wall
7. South Front Wall Remove up to 15 courses of brick on both piers and rebuild Reset existing stone caps
8. West Front Wall Rebuild up to 8 courses of decorative brick Reset 13 l.f. of stone cap Tuck point wall
9. North West Pier Replace up to 7 brick and tuck point wall
