RFP-VOIP - Voice over IP Equipment & Installation

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Pontiac is requesting proposals to supply a Shoretel based Voice over Internet Protocol solution. The City of Pontiac is currently running on an outdated Siemens phone system which is difficult to maintain. This will allow for a new phone system in City buildings that include City Hall, Court House, DPW, DPU, Phoenix Center and the Senior Centers. The City is looking for a turnkey solution from the selected vendor. The City continues to have significant changes within the organization which could potentially impact quantities on the equipment. Expectations of the selected vendor are to provide training to the on-site IT staff in order for them to support the system moving forward. It will also need to work in conjunction with the recently implemented Shoretel Voicemail system. The current design calls for Shoretel switches in both City Hall and the Court House buildings. The selected vendor will need to setup and install switches at each location. They will be expected to install the new phones and work the Information Technology Department in order to schedule and implement the solution. The City of Pontiac needs to have the installation complete within 90 days of issuance of a Purchase Order. Time is of the essence and the project needs to be completed as soon as possible while still insuring a smooth implementation of the solution
