Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, in the office of the Finance Director, Room 217, the Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Third Floor Conference Room 317 of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center for the 2019 Annual Sidewalk Contract.
Contract Documents, including Instruction to Bidders, form of Proposal, Agreement and Specifications may be examined and purchased from the office of the City Engineer of the City of Port Huron, Room 316, Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, upon the payment of a printing fee of twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars per set, which is non-refundable. If the Contractor requests that the City mail a copy of the plans and specifications to them, a charge of ten ($10.00) Dollars per set will be charged.
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Proposal, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal form provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose.
