10-18-23 - RFP City Council Chambers A/V & Lighting Upgrade

The City of Port Huron; located at 100 McMorran Blvd. Port Huron, MI. 48060, is looking
to upgrade the Audio, Video and Lighting systems in the City Council Chambers. It is
the intent to replace all of the equipment with new state of the art technology to be able
to produce HD content and be able to provide a high-quality product to our community.
The City of Port Huron has future plans to relocate to a new facility and move the
Council and equipment to a new location. It is the intent that this equipment should be
able to be moved to another location, rewired and set up in a similar manner in the
event of a move. All equipment should be able to be configured for a new location. It is
our understanding that if a move happens that equipment wiring would have to be newly
installed in the new facility.
The equipment that is contained in this RFP is based on industry standards and is being
used in other similar communities throughout Michigan. The equipment has been
researched and found to meet the needs of the City of Port Huron.
The scope of work, main components and manufacturers are specified in these
documents.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1 INTENT
It is the intent of the City of Port Huron to solicit proposals from qualified vendors
for the A/V and Lighting Upgrade for the City Council Chambers video
production. The City of Port Huron shall be referred to as the Owner. This
solution shall consist of the following components:
• Equipment
• Integration services
• Warranty and Support services
It is desired that vendors propose a complete system for this Request for
Proposals (RFP). If your response contains proposed services or equipment from
multiple providers, all responding parties must be clearly identified and a
synopsis of the partner relationship as well as the party that shall serve as the
prime vendor/contact for the Owner must be detailed. The Owner reserves the
right to proceed with the provider deemed most suitable.
