ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
CITY OF PORT HURON, MICHIGAN
2020 AND 2021 AS-NEEDED CONCRETE REPAIR CONTRACT
PROJECT NO. F20-0010
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, in the office of the Finance Director, Room 217, the Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Third Floor Conference Room 317 of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center for the 2020 and 2021 As-Needed Concrete Repair Contract.
Contract Documents, including Instruction to Bidders, form of Proposal, Agreement and Specifications may be examined and purchased from the office of the City Engineer of the City of Port Huron, Room 316, Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, upon the payment of a printing fee of twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars per set, which is non-refundable. If the Contractor requests that the City mail a copy of the plans and specifications to them, a charge of ten ($10.00) Dollars per set will be charged.
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Proposal, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal form provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose.
The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any defects or irregularities in proposals, and to accept any proposal which is deemed most advantageous to the City's interests. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and materials bonds, maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates.
All bidders are required to qualify according to the Bidder Qualification Regulations for Contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts, as set forth in the Instruction to Bidders.
