Dated October 8, 2021. The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations from qualified companies to perform fire apparatus annual pump testing in compliance with most current National Fire Protection Association standards for a three (3) year term.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, some City processes have been affected and as such, are requiring adjustment to our normal processes to accommodate. If you are interested in providing a quotation, please complete the information requested and submit either by email to brightk@rochesterhills.org or upload to the MITN website (www.mitn.info) by 4:00 PM EST, Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
Questions are to be directed to Keri Bright, CPPB, Procurement Analyst. Questions regarding the solicitation must be made in writing and emailed to brightk@rocheterhills.org prior to Tuesday, October 19. 2021 at 11:30 a.m., at which time an addendum response will be prepared and posted on the MITN website. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their quote. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their quote from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes quote documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of quote documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, enter site, click on City Government, click on Purchasing, click on Vendor Registration. Award will be posted on the MITN website.
The submission of a Quote hereunder shall be considered evidence that the proposer is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered, and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed. All quoted prices shall remain in effect for at least ninety (90) days from the due date of the quote, to allow for the award and, if chosen the successful contractor prices will remain firm through the entire term of the contract.
As this quotation is being made available by electronic means, the contractor accepts full responsibility to ensure that no changes are made to the quotation documents. In the event of conflict between a version of the Solicitation for Quotations submitted by vendor and the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division shall govern.
