Dated: October 26, 2017. The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting proposals from professional contracting companies to install Landscape Lighting outdoors behind the City Hall’s Auditorium. Proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or may be submitted online through the MITN website until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at which time and place proposers names will be publicly read aloud.
The purpose of this document is to ultimately enter into a contract with a qualified firm in order to provide the necessary services and meet the City’s needs. Late submittals will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to postpone the due date for its own convenience. Please visit the City of Rochester Hills’ website at www.rochesterhills.org for Construction Updates/Alerts and allow adequate time when delivering items to the City.
A Voluntary Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m. at the City of Rochester Hills, City Hall Auditorium (located on the lower level), 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48309 in order for potential proposers to become familiar with the premises specified, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. Contractors not in attendance at the pre-proposal meeting will still be eligible to propose on this project. The deadline for questions will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.; questions received after this date and time will not be considered. All questions are to be in writing directed to Lisa Cummins, CPPB, Procurement Manager, by email at cumminsl@rochesterhills.org or by fax to 248.608.8178 in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the proposals are due, if such information would be of significance to uninformed proposers. Inquiries received after the date and time above will not be considered.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select City Government, Departments, Purchasing and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. When an award is made and a notice will be posted on the MITN website.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal.
THE CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS.
