Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS INVITATION TO BID ITB 14/15-07 48 MONTH LEASE - DIGITAL MAIL MACHINE & FOLDER/INSERTER MACHINE (1) The City of Romulus Finance Department is looking to replace its existing Neopost IJ80 mailing system with a new digital mailing system (most current model available from Manufacturer) and also acquire a folder/inserter machine via a standard 48 month, Standard Municipal lease with a $1 buy out at the term of the lease.
All-In-One Lease The monthly lease shall be fixed for term of the lease and all costs related to each machine (i.e. software and software licensing, Remote diagnostics App, Commercial Rates App, Postal Rats App, Postage funding App, Electronic Return Receipt APP, Online reporting relative to postage usage, any postal rate App, fees related to any USPS rate changes, maintenance expense, meter rental, shipping, installation or training etc.) with the exception of supplies shall be included in the monthly lease expense for the entire term of the lease. (2) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit a bid must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the MITN system @ http://www.mitn.info/. (3) Two (2) copies of the bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 20, 2015. At approximately 2:45 p.m., local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
