Summary of Specifications:
INVITATION TO BID (1) The City of Romulus, Department of Public Works is seeking bids from qualified vendors to purchase one 2015 or current model year, Fleet/Non Retail 13,500 G.V.W.R. chassis cab with nine foot, 2.5-3.5 cubic yard dump body and listed accessories. The specifications are based upon a GMC Sierra 3500HD four door, 4WD, Crew Cab 171.5" Truck. The specifications are not intended to be exclusionary but are given to establish the guidelines and minimum requirements to which the features of all vehicles bid by vendors must meet or exceed. Optional pricing is being requested for snowplow attachments.
(2) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained by visiting the MITN system @ www.mitn.info. (3) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:30, Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
