Summary of Specifications:
The City of Romulus, Michigan is seeking bids from qualified licensed contractors, registered with the City of Romulus Department of Building and Safety, for the proper grading, foundation construction and assembly of a 20' x 52' Icon Steel Beam Pavillion (pavilion kit provided by the City) as part of the CDBG funded Coleman Center Park Improvements at 35351 Beverly Road, Romulus, MI 48174. The project is funded by CDBG grants and subject to Prevailing Wage Regulations as dictated by the Davis-Bacon Act and Section 3 requirements Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit a bid must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms, plans and specifications must be obtained through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info/. A public viewing copy of the plans and specifications under which the work is to be done may be examined at the office of Community Development, City Hall, 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174, on or after 1:00 p.m. on March 20, 2015. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm excluding holidays. Bids may be rejected unless made on the forms included with the bidding documents. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 1, 2015.
