The construction engineering services include, but are not limited to: project administration; full-time on-site inspection; reporting measurement, computation and documentation as required by MDOT; supervision of all contractor field construction work on the project including quality control and conformance with the specifications,plans, and contract, and all other requirements as set forth by the MDOT. The consultant shall have working knowledge of the current version of FieldManager software used by MDOT for all aspects of construction engineering as required.
Projects Type of Work:
The project consists of 1.92 miles of cold milling HMA, pavement
and base repair, HMA resurfacing, concrete curb and gutter,
structure adjustments, ADA sidewalk ramps, permanent pavement
markings, and restoration. Additional miscellaneous items of work
are incorporated in the project scope. Copies of the construction
plans are available on MITN.
Project Location:
14 Mile Road from Greenfield Road to Crooks Road in the cities of
Royal Oak, Michigan and Birmingham, Michigan
Submital of Proposals:
Proposals should be submitted to the attention of Matthew J. Callahan, P.E., City Engineer, and
will be accepted at the Issuing Office by 12:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Consultants mailing proposals should allow ample mail delivery time to ensure timely receipt of
their proposals. Proposals arriving after the response date will be disqualified from the consultant
selection process. All consultants will be notified in writing if there is a change in the proposal
due date.
