RFP-SBP-RO-17-030 - Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Royal Oak is accepting proposals from experienced hazard mitigation planning consultants for a single jurisdiction Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP). In 2014 the city experienced a significant storm event in which an abundance of storm water caused a backup of sewage into many basements. Following this event, the city became eligible for funding under the FY 2015 Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant. In turning to Oakland County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan which we are party to, it was found that this plan lacked specific actionable items for which we could apply for funding.
