The City of Southfield, Oakland County, Michigan, will receive bids at the office of the City Clerk, 26000 Evergreen Road, P.O. Box 2055, Southfield, Michigan, 48037�]2055 up to 10:30 A.M., Local Time on Thursday, August 26, 2010 for the 2010/2011 ROADWAY JOINT & CRACK SEALING PROGRAM requiring the following approximate quantities: Cleaning & Resealing Cracks and Joints, Major Roads 134,000 L.F. Cleaning & Resealing Cracks and Joints, Local Roads 269,000 L.F. Overband Sealing Compound 16,300 LBS The Drawings and Specifications under which work is to be done may be obtained through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info on or after Thursday, August 12, 2010 and may be examined at Construction Association of Michigan, Dodge Reports and Reed Construction Data. A certified check, cash or surety bid bond payable to the City of Southfield for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall be required with each response. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and material, and maintenance and guarantee bonds in the amount of 100% of the project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the proposals. No bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Proposals will not be received unless made on blanks furnished through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) and delivered to the Purchasing Agent, in care of the City Clerk on or before 10:30 A.M. Local Time on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
