Summary of Specifications:
The Southfield Building Authority (Owner) is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to remove and replace two (2) existing gas-fired hot water boilers with five (5) new higher efficiency modulating gas-fired boilers, in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings (9 pages). The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Owner and provide bonds and insurance acceptable to the Owner. Copies of these requirements have been included for your review. Pre-Bid Meeting: Bidders will be held to have inspected the facility to determine the conditions under which they will be expected to perform. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for Monday July 26, 2010 at 10:00 A. M. local time in the Southfield Municipal Building Lobby, located at 26000 Evergreen Road, Southfield, Michigan, 48037-2055. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for any company wanting to submit a bid.
