ITB-10-00049 - Water Service Connection and Maintenance Work

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield is seeking bids from qualified companies to perform water service connection and maintenance work in accordance with the description provided in this document. All companies must include a bid deposit in the amount of $1,000 with their bids. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract, as well as provide a $10,000 performance or cash equivalent bond and insurance acceptable to the City of Southfield. The contract will be for a two year period covering March 1, 2011 through February 28, 2013, with an option to extend for an additional one-year period. Prices are requested at this time for the potential contract year extension. The successful bidder will be required to be in compliance with the City’s Living Wage Ordinance.
