Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the Senior Center Parking Lot Reconstruction, City Project #15-270 will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Sterling Heights, until 2:30 p.m., Local Time on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. The works consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to pulverize approximately 8,460 SYD of asphalt pavement, pave approximately 2,150 tons of asphalt, 500 SYD of 7" concrete pavement, 1,000 SFT of concrete sidewalk, install low impact development bioswale and bioretention cells and to perform other associated work as itemized in the proposal. This is a Federal Aid Project through the Community Development Block Grant. The Contractor must comply with the Davis Bacon Act as detailed in the bid specifications. Printed plans and specifications will be on file on or after Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Office of the City Clerk of Sterling Heights. A fee of forty-seven ($47.00) dollars payable to the City of Sterling Heights will be required on the project plans and specifications. Please see bid specifications for more information.
