ITB-SH11-CP09-196,06-138 - Stormwater Retention Ponds Pump Stations Rehabilitation

Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the construction of Stormwater Retention Ponds Pump Stations Rehabilitation will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Sterling Heights, until 2:30 p.m., Local Time on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. This involves two City Projects: The first one is CP#09-196, Fairfield Pump Station; and the second one is CP#06-138, Laurel Meadows Pump Station Repairs. The work includes partial demolition of two existing stormwater retention pond pumping stations and construction of new replacement pumping systems. The project includes mechanical/electrical demolition work and installation of new submersible pumps, piping, access hatches, control panels, etc. and associated electrical work. Installation of a new overflow including piping and drainage structures at each of the project sites is also included. Construction of a new concrete liner within an existing fabricated steel wet well structure is also included. Surface restoration on both sites shall include a mix of concrete flat work and turf restoration.
