The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Porch Repairs. This is a Federally Funded construction
project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act.
A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and
prior to beginning work.

Front Porch
· Removal of existing front porch and footings. If lead walls are present they should remain.
· Porch shall be 6’ deep by 16’ long constructed of 8’ concrete block with all cores grouted solid on a
minimum 12’x42’ footing. Capped with a 4” concrete within 2” pf existing door threshold. New Precast
steps to be included.
· Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
Side Porch

· Porch shall be 5’ deep by 5’ long constructed of 8’ concrete block with all cores grouted solid on a
minimum 12’x42’ footing. Capped with a 4” concrete within 2” pf existing door threshold. New
railings to meet code and precast steps to be included.
· Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
