Scope of Work
The City of Taylor is accepting proposals from qualified contractors to removal of existing carpet and installation of carpet tile and VCT tile flooring at Taylor City Hall located at, 23555 Goddard Rd Taylor, MI, 48180 and Westmound Church located at 12415 Pardee Rd Taylor MI 48180. Some installation of floor will have to be completed on Saturdays and Sundays. These locations will be provided at the pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 @ 2:00 PM. A specification of product is listed below.
City Hall
Remove existing carpet or VCT tile and install Patcraft pdQ2 and/or Patcraft Visual Energy or equivalent carpet squares to be 24"x 24" multiple pattern variations and color options. An estimated 31,900 sq ft of the 46,900 sq ft will be carpet, an estimated 15,000 sq feet of the 46,900 sq feet will be LVT tiles 6" W x 48" L Patcraft Timber Grove II or equivalent. In addition there are two locations that will require stairs install. Wooden cove base will be reused and new vinyl cover base will installed in any location that does not have wood cove base.
West-Mound Church
Remove existing carpet and install Patcraft Classically composed of equivalent broadloom carpet. Please include color options. Aisle-way- 4' 1/2"W x 35'L North Entrance landing before stairs- 108 sq ft Top of Steps- 9' 1/2"W x 6'L Elevator Area- 2' 1/2" W x 4' 1/2"L 7 total steps.
