The City of Taylor is requesting bids for a Sign Cutter and Design Software for the Department of Public Works. Per the
specifications listed below:
Cutting Machine
Graphtec FC8600-130 VIP 54” Cutter or equivalent
Minimum Specifications
· Max. cutting area – 54 in x 164 ft
· Compatible film width – 2.9 in to 60.2 in
· Max cutting speed – 58.5 in/sec
· Max cutting force – 600g
· Shall be designed to cut all grades of traffic material
including 3M Diamond Grade.
· Floor stand
· 3 year min warranty
Software and Computer
Sign Design software shall include:
SignCAD or equivalent
· Shall meet all federal and Michigan Standards
· StreetSIGN Module for street name signs
· FHWA pre-made standard sign library
· Windows 7, 8 & 10 compatible
SignCAM
· Shall cut directly from SignCAD with no conversion
· Include quantity takeoff, cutter/plotter drivers,
automatic raster to vector converision
· Windows 7, 8 & 10 compatible
Computer
· Shall have a Intel i7 processor latest version
· Minimum hard drive size of 1TB
· Minimum of 8gb of RAM
· Windows 10 Professional
· 19” Monitor
Training
· Training shall be a 1 day on-site training.
