RFQ-RM-2018-06-27-003 - Senior Center Water Feature

The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Insulation. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, and must comply with the Davis Bacon Act. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and prior to beginning work. Project will be prevailing wage please use the attached wage determination.
 
Rehabilitation of Senior Center Pond Water Feature
 
Current feature consist of 2 autonomous closed systems that recycle water from a skimmer intake box around to a waterfall filter box imbedded into the hillside to crease a natural water feature.
 
Project will consist of replacing all pumps and filter parts listed below. Main feature will be torn down and have the waterfall filter boxes reset, all liner approx 20’ x 20’ will be replace. Water feature will be rebuilt with large fieldstone boulders and ledgestone. The final structure should have a natural look with cascading waterfalls down the hill side. Naturalized plantings will be added to complete project.
