Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bid proposals for the CITY OF TROY CONCRETE RAMP REPLACEMENT FOR FIRE STATION #6 LOCATED AT 5901 COOLIDGE HIGHWAY, TROY, MI, will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084 until February 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM EST, after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Troy City Offices. Late bid submittals will not be accepted. Bid responses are not accepted via fax transmission.
A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $1,000.00 must accompany the bid to insure the bid. Unsuccessful bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. Upon award to the successful bidder, the bid deposit will be retained as a performance surety until successful completion of all contract requirements.
Site inspection is required. Bids will not be accepted from firms who do not complete a site inspection. All bidders must examine the premises to determine the amount of work to be done in accordance with specifications. Bidders must schedule a site inspection appointment with Peter Hullinger, Fire Department, 248-524-3417.
