Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bid proposals to furnish ONE (1) NEW PRE-CAST CONCRETE RESTROOM BUILDING AT MILVERTON PARK including pre-assembled building with all fixtures, delivery and placement of structure on foundation will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084. A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany the bid to insure the bid. The three lowest bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The work shall commence as soon as possible. The pre-cast concrete restroom building must be completed and placed on the foundation at Milverton Park no later than December 21, 2011. Restroom facility and all components shall be shipped F.O.B. delivered, freight paid to Milverton Park located at 2384 E. Maple Road, Troy, MI 48083 in accordance with specifications. Delivery shall include placement of the facility on the foundation supplied by the City of Troy. The City of Troy will not pay additional shipping fees over the amount provided in the proposal. Bidders should examine the site to determine the amount of work to be done in accordance with the specifications. If a bidder does not make a site inspection, then that bidder accepts full responsibility and risk for any errors or omissions in his/her bid proposal.
