Description

The City of Warren is seeking electronic bids from qualified vendors to furnish sandwiches to detainees in the Warren Police Department, per the bid form and specification. The City will only accept electronic bids submitted via the BidNet (MITN) system.

The proposed contract is intended to provide sandwiches to detainees in the Warren Police Department lock up pending their arraignment, and subsequent release, transfer, or posting of bail bond. Detainees are not held long term and most are held less than 48 hours. The average daily population of the detention center ranges from 20-40 detainees per day. Weekends have the higher population.
