The City of Fraser is seeking qualified vendors for the 2023 Concrete Road Repair Program;
Following is an approximate quantity of materials needed
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The approximate quantities involved in this work are as follows:
Remove and Replace 8” Concrete Pavement 1,250 SY
Remove and Replace 9” Concrete Pavement 250 SY
together with other related items of work as well as cleanup and restoration.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Plans and specifications will be available after 2:00 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023 must be
obtained through Michigan Intergovernmental Trade network (MITN) at
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. Bids may be rejected unless made on the forms included with
the bidding documents.
BID SECURITY
A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety
company, payable to the City of Fraser, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid
amount, shall be submitted with each bid.
WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids. This time
frame may be adjusted through mutual agreement between the Owner and the Contractor.
AWARD OF CONTRACT
The City of Fraser reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids and to waive any
irregularities in bidding. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance,
payment and maintenance and guarantee bonds and insurance certificates.
