Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting/On-Site Inspection of Premises:
Before submitting bids for their work, the Contractor shall be held to have examined the premises and satisfied themselves as to the existing conditions under which he/she shall be obligated to operate, or that in any way affects the work under this contract. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection, on behalf of the Contractor for any negligence on their part. The mandatory pre-bid meeting/on-site inspection will be held on the date and times specified below. Bidders are responsible for their own transportation and any parking costs. Bidders shall sign in at each location that they intend on providing a bid response; failure to do so will result in the bid response for that location being non-responsive. Bidders are required to stay for the entire site visit. Bidders will need to sign in at each location.

The following is the on-site inspection schedule:
A mandatory introductory meeting to discuss the project shall be held at the Water Administration Building, 1900 Oak Industrial NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, May 23, 2022, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The City reserves the right to waive, at its discretion, any irregularity or informality that City deems correctable or otherwise not warranting rejection of the bid response.
