The City of Grand Rapids is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking a qualified consulting firm to assist in assessing, defining, and enhancing its organizational culture. This initiative aims to align city culture with our values to foster an engaged and high-performing workforce. The signed and completed submitted response, as well as any required RFP documents, will form the basis of any contract document for the awarded vendor. Respondents must be bona fide providers of the products and services requested. The City intends for this Request for Proposal to result in a contract for a one-year term contract (approximately March 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026 budgeted annually)with the possibilities of renewals as needed.

The City of Grand Rapids has implemented several initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, including Employee Resource Groups, training and development programs, employee recognition programs, Employee Assistance Programs, and wellness initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance employee satisfaction and morale, improve engagement, foster a sense of belonging, support collaboration, align with the City's mission and values, and attract and retain top talent.
