The City of Grand Rapids desires a one-year contract, with two, one-year renewal options for both short and long term rental of refuse trucks, based on seasonal needs, as per the specifications contained herein. Rental costs proposed shall include, but not be limited to, rental costs, and all necessary maintenance and repairs (that are not a direct result of City actions). Fuel for the equipment, as well as day-to-day maintenance and care of the equipment, will be the responsibility of the City.

Short term rental:
Estimated quantity and length of rental by season
- Spring: Three each, 32-yard Trucks (rear or front load, preference for front load w curotto can) for 4-6 Week Period between April through mid-May.
- Fall: Three each, 32-yard Trucks (rear or front load, preference for front load w curroto can) for 6-Week Period between early October through early December
Long term rental:
- Annual rental/lease of one each, 10-yard rear load truck for municipal residential collections
- Annual rental/lease of one each, 32-yard front load truck for municipal commercial collections
- Annual rental/lease of one each, 32 yard rear load truck for municipal residential collections
