Description

The Ionia Downtown Development Authority, on behalf of the City of Ionia, is seeking proposals for the 2025 and 2026 City of Ionia Fireworks Display to be held:

2025 - Thursday, June 26th with a rain date of Friday, June 27th
2026 - Thursday, June 25th with a rain date of Friday, June 26th

An 18-20 minute display is requested with approximately 2,300 plus shells ranging in size from 1 ½ inch to 4 inch diameter providing a variety of fireworks. The display will be launched each year from the infield of the Ionia Fairgrounds, 317 S. Dexter Street, Ionia, MI 48846. View the RFP package for complete details.

To submit a valid bid, each bidder must complete and return the entire RFP packet with required attachments and authorized signatures. Proposals should be mailed or delivered to the City Manager’s Office at Ionia City Hall, 114 N. Kidd Street, PO Box 496, Ionia MI 48846, by the date and time specified, which is September 13, 2024 by 10:00AM. A public bid opening will occur at this time.

No late, emailed, faxed, or telephone bids will be accepted. The City reserves the right to postpone the bid opening for its own convenience.
