The City of River Rouge is accepting proposals for the 2023 PRV REPLACEMENT PROJECT City of River Rouge, Wayne County, Michigan
This project consists of the rehabilitation of the internal piping, valves, and PRVs of the City of River Rouge’s existing pressure reducing valve (PRV) vaults, RR01 on Coolidge between Bassett and Campbell, and RR02 on Anchor between West Jefferson and Burkes. The work will include the removal of existing piping, valves, and PRVs as indicated on the drawings and the installation of new piping, valves, and PRVs.
The anticipated start date, weather permitting for the 2023 season, is No Later than November 1, 2023, and fully completed by March 15, 2024.
There will be an optional pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 10:00-10:30 am. This meeting will be held in person at RR01 Coolidge between Basset and Campbel, from there we will move to RR02. This will allow for the opportunity for bidders to view into the PRV vaults from the vault hatches (no entry into the vaults will be permitted).

A download of the Contract Document from the link above places you on the Approved bidder’s list. Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 90 days after the bid opening date.
