Each proposal that is received by the deadline will be evaluated on its merit and completeness of all requested information. If you plan on becoming a Respondent to this RFP, please notify City Attorney, John C. Clark at jclark@gmhlaw.com so that any questions or clarifications can be sent to you. In preparing proposals, Respondents are advised to rely only upon the contents of this RFP and accompanying documents and any written clarifications or addenda issued by the City of Saline (City). If a Respondent finds a discrepancy, error, or omission in the RFP package, or requires any written addendum thereto, the Respondent is requested to notify John C. Clark at the City Attorney’s office at the same email address so that written clarification may be sent to all prospective Respondents. THE CITY WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANY ORAL INQUIRIES ON THIS RFP. No contact regarding this document with other City employees regarding this document is permitted.
To be considered, three (3) copies of the proposal must be prepared in the manner and detail specified in this RFP.
-Proposals must be submitted to City Attorney John C. Clark, Esq., Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. located at 101 West Big Beaver Road, 10th Floor, Troy, Michigan 48084, no later than
October 18, 2024, 4:00 PM.
-Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, box or package, and clearly marked on the outside with the following: “SAFD FIRE SERVICES PROPOSAL,” date of submittal, Respondent’s name, address, phone, fax and contact name.
-Submission of a proposal establishes a conclusive presumption that the Respondent is thoroughly familiar with the Request for Proposals (RFP) and specifications, and that the Respondent understands and agrees to abide by each and all of the stipulations and requirements contained therein.
-No erasures are permitted. Mistakes may be crossed out and corrections must be initialed in ink by the person(s) signing the proposal.
-Proposals sent by electronic means will not be considered.
-Proposals must be signed by an authorized official of the Respondent. Each signature represents a binding commitment upon the Respondent to provide services offered to the City, if
the Respondent is determined to be the most responsive and responsible Respondent.
All proposals must be firm for at least 120 days from the due date of the proposal. After a final award of the Agreement by the City of Saline, the Respondent must execute and perform said Agreement
