The WORK consists of installation of a prefabricated bridge crossing of the Greenaway Drain,
installation of a parking lot with underground storm sewer system and above ground stormwater
detention, installation of curb and gutter and sidewalk, removal and resurfacing and street lighting
in a vacant undeveloped parcel located adjacent to the City of Walled Lake campus. Work shall
commence no earlier than May 20, 2020 and have final completion no later than August 31, 2020.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Bidders will have the opportunity to bid this project with a separate City project on the same bid
date, Contract 20-048 – Downtown Storm Sewer and Beautification, which can be awarded together
at a discounted percentage of the itemized base bid. Related bid form notes shall be provided. An
exception to final completion date will be considered if awarded contractor is also awarded Contract
20-048 and requires adjustment to coordinate project schedules for the separate projects.
