On-Call Planning Community Consulting Services

Clay Township will select qualified consulting firms to provide on-call planning consulting services. Clay Township is looking for a competent consulting partner that can efficiently address its planning needs.  Clay Township is a coastal and rural community that is growing.  The consultant shall have the ability to provide in-house services, or the capacity to sublet for services associated with proposed projects, including but not limited to general planning-related development and land use project review, site plan reviews, technical plan check for planning documents and plans, map review, zoning ordinance review. conformance with Federal, State of Michigan and local regulations.

Please provide a monthly retainer fee, A retainer fee for on-call planning consulting services, which includes 12 Planning Commission meetings a year on the fourth Wednesday of each month, assisting and advising Clay Township staff, developers, and citizens with zoning, land use, and community development issues, as well as updating the Township’s Zoning District Map and conducting basic research of issues requested by the Township for no additional fees, including preparing minor amendments to the Zoning Ordinance
