Description

Livingston County, together with the Livingston County Public Defender’s Office, is requesting proposals for Indigent Criminal Defense Services for the purpose of garnering legal representation to qualifying indigent adult defendants. In order to ensure quality legal representation to indigent defendants, Livingston County and the Public Defender’s Office require all proposals to include provisions necessary to comply with the standards both adopted and approved by the MIDC. The applicable standards are available at the following link, and are incorporated into this request by reference: https://michiganidc.gov/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Standards-1-8-Fall-2018.pdf. . This solicitation may result in a multiple contract award. It is anticipated that services will commence upon award through September 30, 2024. The County, at its discretion, may renew the contract for two (2) additional one-year periods for a total contract period not to exceed three (3) years.
