IFB-37-12-013 - Allison Transmission Parts & Repair

Summary of Specifications:
1) INTRODUCTION: Through this Invitation for Bids (IFB), the Charter County of Wayne (County) hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit bids to provide Allison Transmission and related repairs including original equipment manufactured (OEM) parts for medium to heavy duty trucks and specialty heavy equipment on a demand basis. The estimated value for the term of this contract is $ 400,000.00. 2) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders (specifically, the business that will be contractually bound under the contract with the County) will be deemed non-responsible and rejected without any further evaluation if they do not meet the following mandatory qualifications: a) Bidder or its subcontractor must be factory authorized Allison Transmission distributors and/or dealers. b) The Bidder or its subcontractor must have service locations within a 30 mile radius from the County facility located at 29900 Goddard Road, Romulus, Michigan (as determined by MapQuest).
