Summary of Specifications:
The Charter County of Wayne hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit proposals for the purpose of operating and managing Wayne County’s two golf courses as concessions. The County of Wayne has two public link golf courses located in the western portion of the County: Warren Valley at 26116 Warren Avenue, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48127, and Inkster Valley Golf Club, 2150 Middlebelt Road, Inkster, Michigan 48141. Warren Valley is a 36-hole golf course encompassing approximately 255 acres designed in 1922 by Donald Ross. It has 23 bunkers; includes ponds, drainage system and irrigation system; features riverbanks, ditches and wetlands. The facility has a Pro Shop that sells apparel, golf balls and small accessories, among other things. There is a full service, year-round, restaurant/banquet facility that serves alcohol. Operator will be responsible for providing golf carts. Inkster Valley is an 18-hole golf course encompassing approximately 400 acres. It has 57 bunkers, ponds, drainage system, irrigation system, riverbanks, ditches and wetlands. The facility has a Pro Shop, which sells apparel, golf balls and small accessories, among other things. There is also a small clubhouse and grill that serves beer and wine coolers, and short order fast food. Operator will be responsible for providing golf carts.
