37-25-040 - External Audit Services

The County of Wayne through the Office of Legislative Auditor General is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2025, 2026 and 2027.  These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the Government Accountability Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (July 2018 revisions), the provisions of the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996, the Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).
