Summary of Specifications:
Wayne County will award a supplier in the category of Industrial Supplies and Tools. The general objectives of this solicitation are the following: • competitively award a contract(s) for Industrial Supplies and Tools • ensure there is a fair process at every step of the procurement process • to fulfill the purchase request in a timely manner • ensure that taxpayers dollars are spent wisely It is anticipated that this RFP may result in multiple contract awards in the best interests of Wayne County. This RFP is designed to provide interested Proposers with sufficient information to submit proposals meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a proposal’s content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Proposers are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to add service and value consistent with Wayne County requirements. The scope of work consists of 17 categories. This proposal has been divided into categories with items that generally represent those anticipated to be most frequently purchased during the contract period. Proposals will be considered from qualified proposers that can provide all products at minimum of one entire category.
