RFP-37-12-083 - JAIL INMATE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Summary of Specifications:
Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Charter County of Wayne (County) hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit proposals to provide a Jail Inmate Management System (JMS) to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. The County of Wayne wishes to contract with a supplier of Jail Information Systems for implementation and use within its Jail facilities. The Wayne County Jail houses over 2,000 inmates daily, with an average intake and release of over 34,000 inmates annually. Currently the County of Wayne through the Sheriff of Wayne County operates three (3) Jail facilities. The County is in the process of building a New Consolidated Jail to replace the existing three facilities. The intent is to develop and operate a JMS for all three existing facilities and then transition to a consolidated facility.
