Summary of Specifications:
The Healthy Homes for a LeadSafe Wayne County Program is a HUD funded effort that consists of a Lead Hazard Control Grant with a Healthy Homes Component. A majority of the funding comes from a Lead Hazard Control Grant ($2,480,000) the balance comes from a Healthy Homes Component ($180,000). It is Wayne County’s intention to apply the funds to common goals (i.e., when we inspect a housing unit for lead, it will also be inspected for health and safety issues). It is expected that the Lead Hazard Control Grant will inspect and assess 340 homes and conduct lead hazard control activities on 240 of the inspected/assessed homes. Healthy Homes inspections, assessments and corrective actions are expected to be done on the same set of homes. The three-year grant concludes at the end of December 2015. Annual renewal is dependent upon performance and availability of funds. All work executed in this agreement must comply with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements including HUD rules, regulations and guidelines. PLEASE REVIEW THE FORMAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS. FAILURE TO ADHERE MAY RESULT IN YOUR BID BEING DEEMED NON-RESPONSIVE.
