37-18-017-A Re-Bid - RFP for Life Insurance Coverage Products

The Charter County of Wayne hereby invites insurance companies who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit proposals for the purpose of providing employer-provided group Basic Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) as well as voluntary Supplemental Employee Life and AD&D insurance and voluntary Dependent Life Insurance to eligible actively employed and retired employees of the County.
        The County wants to provide a competitive benefits program that focuses on:

1. Superior claims administration and customer service to its employees and the County’s Benefit Administration and financial staff;
2. Benefits, policy provisions, eligibility, and guarantee issue amounts same as currently provided;
3. Cost containment; and
4. Positive perception by employees, retirees and potential new hire employee candidates.
