Summary of Specifications:
For construction services to install approximately 30 linear feet of 8-inch, 5,200 linear feet of 12-inch and 3,000 linear feet of 15-inch sanitary sewer by open cut along with 900 linear feet of 24-inch steel casing pipe and sanitary manholes. In addition to the construction of the sanitary sewer, 20.7 acres of wetlands mitigation is required throughout the area. This mitigation includes the creation of new wetland areas, stockpiling of soil, seeding, shrub, and tree installation. This project is for the County of Wayne, Department of Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) and is located in Huron Charter Township. The successful Bidder will be responsible for obtaining all required permits. No Bid will be considered from any Bidder unless known to be skilled and regularly engaged in work of a character similar to that covered by the Contract Documents. In order to aid the County in determining the responsibility of any Bidder, the Bidder, within 48 hours after being requested in writing by the County to do so, shall furnish evidence, satisfactory to the County, of the Bidder's experience and familiarity with Work of the character specified, and his financial ability to properly prosecute the proposed Work to completion within the specified time. Bidder shall have the ability to perform the work as described in the technical specifications. The detailed specifications are presented in the Contract, Appendices A and B and the associated plan documents.
