Summary of Specifications:
DWSD requests written proposals from consulting engineering firms to conduct an engineering study for the evaluation of alternatives to replace the existing oil-hydraulic valve actuators on the discharge of the high-lift pumps with new valve actuators at DWSD's Southwest Water Treatment Plant. These actuators are used to open, close and modulate the discharge cone valves on the high-lift pumps. DWSD is not intetested in an in-kind replacement of the existing oil-hydraulic valve actuators.
