RFP-SJ-CS-1623 - INSPECTION, CONDITION ASSESSMENT AND ENGINEERING EVALUATION OF RAW

Summary of Specifications:
To provide multidisciplinary inspection and engineering services to inspect DWSD's existing raw water intakes, shafts, tunnels, raw water control gates, stop logs and related structures, and provide engineering reports documenting the inspections and condition assessment work. These inspections will be conducted at DWSD's three (3) raw water intakes located in the Detroit River and Lake Huron. Two (2) of these intakes are located in the Detroit River while the third is located in Lake Huron. The inspections will also be conducted at the associated river and lake tunnels, and network of land tunnels, shafts and gate structures that convey raw water to DWSD's five (5) water treatment plants.
