702-17-299 - Floating Dock Modifications

The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the Work. The Work is summarized as follows:
1. Unpin and temporarily remove the existing gangway
2. Disconnect and remove finger pier sections from the water, replace and add additional floats, provide owner with existing floats
3. Remove main dock section from water
4. Remove portions of main dock deck planks and framing, and reconfigure at lower profile, reusing members and connection hardware as detailed
5. Provide additional main dock bracing, wear plates and framing as detailed
6. Replace, relocate and add additional floats, provide owner with existing floats
7. Remove existing pedestal from promenade and relocate to floating dock platform
8. Replace modified finger pier and main dock sections in water and reconnect
9. Replace and repin gangway
And all incidental construction at Lake St. Clair Metropark in Macomb County, Michigan.
