Description

The Macomb County Sheriff, Macomb County Office of County Executive as well as the Macomb County Board of Commissioners require Architectural and Engineering services to design the renovation of the current jail and new construction of the Centralized Intake and Processing Center. Macomb County is currently reviewing and beginning to implement significant reform to its criminal justice system. The County realizes that the size, scope, design and operations of a new Central Intake and Processing Center and the renovations to the current Jail must support this reform. The County is seeking partners interested in working with the County to develop innovative operation designs which will support effective services and programs in the facility while maintaining public safety.

An informational meeting/site visit will be held Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (local time). Potential proposers are asked to gather at the Jail Main Entrance Lobby, at which time they will be escorted through the facility. It is highly recommended that all potential respondents attend, as no other site visit will be scheduled. Failure to attend this meeting does not absolve the proposer from compliance with all terms and conditions of the RFP or any resultant agreement.
