RFP-22-16 - Electronic Recycling

Summary of Specifications:
The project consists of monthly electronics recycling drop-off for Macomb County residents. Drop-off will occur during the county operated Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events. These events are operated by county personnel. The program collects a broad range of electronic equipment including, but not limited to: computer monitors, central processing units (CPUs), printers, circuit boards, radios, televisions (console, plasma, LED, etc.), DVD players, VCRs, cell phones, telephones, keyboards, mice, scanners, satellite receivers, fax machines and other miscellaneous electronics. 



Health Department staff load items collected into Gaylords, which are housed in an onsite storage unit until pick-up by the vendor. 

The county seeks to obtain proposals for electronics recycling services to process electronic equipment collected by Macomb County’s HHW program.
