0027 - Private Duty Nursing Services

Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) announces a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) Services from qualified Bidders to serve persons in Macomb County. The successful Bidder is to provide Private Duty Nursing (PDN) services in compliance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and Medicaid Provider Manual requirements. PDN services are assessed and approved via the Pre-Paid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) for beneficiaries over 21 years of age enrolled in the Habilitative Supports Waiver (HSW Waiver). Individuals served must be deemed eligible per the criteria outlined in the Medicaid Provider Manual and in-home PIHP nursing Medicaid eligibility assessment. Eligibility is determined on initial requests, annually, and when there is a request to increase or decrease intensity of services authorized.
