VETS TO WELLNESS VEHICLES
LEASE OF WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE
MINI VANS
The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) is soliciting bids to lease six (6) wheelchair accessible (Dodge Caravan chassis/body or approved equal) minivans to transport American Veteran customer for MTA. The wheel chair accessible minivan lease terms will be up to six (6) months with the option to extend monthly. Vehicles must be the color white with rear entry wheel chair access. The model year of the vehicles must be between 2017-2019. Bids shall be submitted on or before 3:00 p.m. Local Time, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the MTA Administration Building located at 1401 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48503. For more information and to request a copy of this IFB, please visit www.mtaflint.org/Purchasing. Specifications are available to attain from the Purchasing Agent on or after Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at MTA’s Administration Building at the same address above at 3:15 p.m. Local Time Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
MTA reserves the right to waive any informality in the invitation for bid; to reject any or all bids; and to make any award which it considers to be in the best interest of the MTA. The MTA reserves the right to use whatever reasonable and prudent evaluation techniques it deems appropriate.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after submission.
Funding for this project is available through Federal and State Grants.
